ABOUT JAH ROCKER:
Jah Rocker AKA Dj Omar Herrera has been layin it down since the days of the underground. From Santiago, Chile to Chicago, Illinois he connects with the audience through diverse style and technic. You can catch him playin his weekly sets in S.F. or at special events across the western hemisphere. Rootsman loves many styles so you never know what he'll play or sing. Omar is an accomplished vocalist and also likes to toast on the mic in tradition of the first DJ's of the Jamaican Sound Systems. He has performed with artists from many scenes such as former Chilean super group La Ley, Mexican electronic act Kinky, San Francisco Dj/Producer Mei-Lwun, Guitarist Pedro Frugone, and Congolese Musician Borrina. He is featured as a vocalist on the Supperclub Addiction CD for the S.F. Producers Michael Anthony and B. Smiley song Big Up Style. MORE INFO
